Inspired by Lonny......

The new issue of Lonny is out! I had the pleasure of reading it this morning while enjoying my morning coffee. I wanted to share with you the spaces that inspired me most.
The idea to install a huge photo of the ocean on the dining room wall in Lulu's house is simply genius! It not only brings nature in, it makes the room appear so much larger. I would love to do this in my master bath as it is on the small side and we have beautiful tropical inspired paintings in the bedroom.
Do you like?

Above, is Lulu's bedroom . I love this room...all the "layers" make it so comfy and cozy. I have been searching for the perfect headboard/style for my master bedroom..this just may be it! (maybe only one row of nail heads) Don' t you love the chests uses as night stands/tables.. I would probably do something like that on one side of the bed, and a little chair with a table lamp on the other.. mmmmmm... look at all the wonderful fabrics!!!

Ahhhhh... wouldn't you love to have a sitting room in your master suite like Celerie Kemble has? I sure would. This space is elegant yet not too fussy.  Those chairs!!! SWOON!!! I love that the tables don't match..creates more interest in my eyes.. the antique mirror is divine. Couldn't you see yourself reading the morning paper in that space?

Ok..so I am a tad envious... a rooftop patio overlooking the park... ( I believe Central Park)..This space is part of Celerie Kemble's home/apartment.  Lonny hit a homerun featuring Lulu's and Celerie's homes as well as several other well noted designers. Such a great issue! Check it out here!

What spaces inspired you the most?
