Projects To Do in 2010 and Happy Pink Saturday!

Happy 1st Pink Saturday of 2010! This week Beverly of How Sweet the Sound has asked that we share a few projects that we hope to accomplish in the new year!
I have been so inspired this past year by so many of the talented people who's blogs I visit and think THIS may just be the year I get my decorating projects done!
Above and below are pictures of the wall between 2 windows in the master bedroom where the bed SHOULD be...... I am on the hunt for the perfect headboard and some wonderful case pieces to go with to house all my favorite "T's" and sweaters... The artwork stays as it is one of my treasured paintings by artist, Jane Slivka.

The second project in the master will be to adorn the windows with a simple treatment. I am thinking bronze metal rods with simple panels ..... restoration hardware look....

My home office needs a little re-arranging, pictures need to be re-hung and I need to find a fabric for that cushion on the chair...

All the door latches and hinges on my beautiful wood doors will soon be dark bronze.....

And last but not least, I must cover the seat cusions on my kitchen chairs! I am thinking a distressed dark brownish red leather for easy clean... or....a color perhaps... or a pattern...or....I have been searching fabrics and tear sheets it seems like for years!
Happy New Year and Happy Pink Saturday! I hope you all finish at least one project that has been waiting in the wings in 2009 !
Go check out Beverly and see what everyone else is up to for Pink Saturday!

Thank you for stopping by my blog and your sweet comment. There's always a project isn't there - We've lived in our home now for 4 years and are just now getting to making our living room an actual living room, and we're still working on it. One step at a time, I know we'll get there. Happy New Year to you and Happy Pink Saturday!
