Happy PINK Saturday everyone! I thought I would take you on a little walk through my gardens starting out with this PINK lace cap hydrangea, just starting to bloom!
Here's a little PINK perennial, the name escapes me...but it attracts humming birds to the garden.....
PINK petunias and some green and PINK varigated ivy! I love this pot holder, picked up at the art fest last weekend!
Okay, wellll we are heading out of the PINK zone now... thought I would treat you to a glimpse of these beautiful curants! This is the first "crop" of berries since my Mom gave me this bush 4 years ago! It is an off shoot from the same bush my Grandmother had in her garden YEARS and YEARS ago!
Ahhh, the daisies! They are really showing off this year! Such happy flowers!
Usually, the feeder is full of many hungry visitors!

I have been trying my hand at creating a woodland garden... here's some lovely violets that my friend, Laura gave me last year to propogate....they are finally spreading !
Here's a gorgeous painted fern amidst some lily of the valley...
The first of the coneflowers to bloom, some salvia and astilbe create "privacy" while the birds bathe!
Check out the sapphire dragon, that is the plant in the backround....very unusual...Laura gave that to me...hers gets 15 ft. tall....I think I need to move mine to a sunnier spot!

I'm still waiting for my shasta daisies to bloom, they must be delayed because I moved them this year. Love yours!!
My garden has been so slow this year with all the chilly, wet weather. That is OK as it is still something to look forward to!

Your garden looks so lovely. I loved the cone flowers. They are so beautiful. I also loved the birdbath that looks like heavy stone. I am sure that the birds just love it. It isn't moving. Very pretty. I just can't seem to get enough of looking at flowers this year. I love to go in the yard just to see how much mine have grown.

Nice garden you have ... I have a little garden of my own and my hubby is amazed how I seem to know how many flowers a certain plant has on a particular day and how much a certain plant has grown ... do you also care to know such details?
Wood land garden . . . I like the sound of it very much. And I think your garden will be just that :-) You have beautiful flowers and I love seeing tall trees on the background. The story of the berries is also nice. Maybe when you have grown children, you can also share another plant from that same plant. How cool is that.

We have so many of the same flowers in our gardens. Coreopsis, lavender and that copper art swirly thing. I call it copper art. I am definately going to be stopping again. I need to update my garden photos. Since my last one, the Venice Hydrangea has bloomed, as did the Shasta daisies! See you soon!! :)
