Affordable PINK Art for Pink Saturday!

Happy Pink Saturday! Today we are going on an art walk in a gallery of PINK art! Heather Clawson of the fabulous Habitually Chic blog introduced many blog readers to UGallery, a wonderful website where artists display and sell fanTAStic affordable pieces.
UGallery.com represents top artists chosen by an independent board of curators. The selection
is amazing and the artwork of these emerging artists diverse and exciting. The prices will shock you at how affordable they are. Go to the site after today's Pink tour, I am sure you will find several pieces for your home!
The first piece is called "Volcano" and is by William Mercado of Rutgers University. It is a fun, vibrant piece. I immediatel thought of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel on Wakiki beach!! That's the PINK one you know!

Below is a beautiful impressionist painting by Coette Wirz of the School of the Art Institute Chicago. It is called "Crying Roses". Go to the site and search her by last name, and you will find a beautiful array of florals and birds all done in the impressionist genre.

"Cadi 2" done by Melissa Ebeling of the Scottdale Artists' School is part of a series that you must go see on the website! It is supposed to be an impressionist painting, but to me it looks more like a realist painting, so clear and concise, almost like a photograph! It just pops of the page! LOVE it!

Comusina Hardman, University of Georgia painted my next selection below. It is called "Shipwreck" I love her use of color to create "light" and depth. It almost looks like the morning light is upon the boat. Comusina has a beautiful "gallery" of paintings to choose from.

Last, but not least "Roma" is a beautiful, quiet painting of the pink sky over Rome. I think Case Jernigan, The College of William and Mary captured the scene beautifully.

I hope you enjoyed the art walk today! Now, go check out Beverly at How Sweet The Sound,
and see what she and all the other PINKIES are up to today!

Cold, dark, misty in my neck of the woods. My perennials are hiding and I am wearing a sweatshirt. Coming here today made my day a little brighter. Thanks so much.

I'm a little late with my Pink Saturday visits because I had my grandsons for the weekend and couldn't tear myself away from them☺

♥Wishing you and yours a week full of happiness♥

What a wonderful idea! I am sure all these artist are flattered by your recognition, as they certainly deserve it! Saw a sign in Key West recently that said "artist wanted". I took a picture of it, just because its something we do not see even of! I'll have to post it soon for you to see-
Lovely as always, Ivy Lane!
Best,
Claire
