This is a cherished picture of my Great Auntie Tone's Christmas tree village. It is thought to have been taken in the 1950's. It almost looks like it could be in a store display window. Auntie Tone and my Grandmother always had the most beautiful holiday displays with trains and villages, Nativity Scenes, and the most stunning tree decorations with the tinsel and the lights and the erethral Angels! Note the mix of patterns in the wallpaper, draperies, carpet...Gotta love vintage!
